The Dementia Participation Group
Do you care for someone who has dementia or memory loss or do you know someone that you are worried about.
Do you or the person living with dementia live in Rutland?

Are you age 18 and over?

It can be a frightening and lonely experience, and it is not easy to know
who to turn to for help and advice. you are welcome to come and listen, chat, seek
advice, and work alongside RCC services if you wish to improve the dementia provision in Rutland.

The Dementia Participation Group, are made up of members of the public, aged 18+, who have lived experience of caring for a loved one's living with dementia, we know how hard it is at the offset of dementia that is why we have volunteered our time along with the professionals from Health and Social Care also the Admiral Nurse Team and other professionals. We holding Roadshows at locations near you, all over Rutland every two months.
We are trying to inprove the nightmare it can be. you do not have to talk to all the group you can do a one to one with any body that you feel comfortable and at ease with so that we can point you in the right direction.
