  • Rob Persani

    Station Manager, Rutland & Stamford Sound CIC

    Rob lives in Oakham, having also lived in Stamford. He spent 21 years at Rutland Radio, having been Station Manager, Programme Manager and Music Manager. He was the Breakfast Presenter for 20 years and has hosted many live local events.

    Rob has worked as the Project Manager, initially assigned to  Rutland County Council  and now with Rutland and Stamford Sound Community Interest Company as Station Manager, to oversee the new community station for Rutland and Stamford.

  • David Lewis

    Director & Acting Chair, Rutland & Stamford Sound CIC

    David is from Ketton. He is a former Chartered Accountant with a wealth of experience in finance and project management. David worked in senior finance roles at Thomas Cook and Pearl Assurance in Peterborough, and more recently in London with companies such as Aviva and Bupa.  

    David is also Chair of the Rutland Fairtrade Forum.

    David is responsible for Governance support to the CIC

  • Mick Meadows

    Broadcast Consultant

    Mick is from Stamford. He is currently an Executive Producer at Virgin Radio, prior to that he was an Executive Producer at Radio 1 and XFM in London.  He started his radio career locally; he was a presenter and producer in the 90's at Hereward Radio in Peterborough and BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.

    Mick provides the Team with invaluable advice on all things Broadcast.

  • Stu Moore

    Director, Rutland & Stamford Sound CIC

    A Rutland resident for over fifteen years, Stu lives with his wife and two highly energetic children in Pickworth, near Stamford. Stu served with the RAF, flying missions in Iraq and Afghanistan and instructing around the UK. After leaving the military, he became the manager of a global flight operation based in New York. He is now a commercial pilot for a large airline. With experience in management, training and communications, Stu began as a volunteer with Rutland & Stamford Sound and is now our Director responsible for Distribution.

  • Vicky Binley

    Director, Rutland & Stamford Sound CIC

    Born and raised in Rutland, Vicky is the Founder and Director of Nimble Media Ltd. Established in 2013, Nimble is a local multi-service media agency based in Ashwell. 

    With experience in management, sales, and communications, Vicky and the team at Nimble have supported Rutland & Stamford Sound in selling advertising and sponsorship since 2023. She joined as a Director in 2024.

    Passionate about the local area, Vicky is married to a local farmer, has two sons and sits on the Management Committee for Discover Rutland.

  • Philip Warner

    Director, Rutland & Stamford Sound CIC

    Born and raised locally, Philip is Managing Director of Warners Printers, a long-established family business in Bourne. With nearly 40 years’ experience in the print industry, he has led the company through significant change while maintaining a strong focus on quality, sustainability and community engagement.

    Philip is actively involved in local initiatives and joined Rutland & Stamford Sound as a Director in 2025. He lives in Rutland with his wife, Jeannette, and has two grown-up sons who work in the family firm.

  • Anne Stringer

    Director, Rutland & Stamford Sound CIC

    Anne qualified as an accountant with Reuters News Agency in London.  After a successful career in finance and running her own business, Anne now works part-time in finance for Bargate Holroyd Insurance Brokers in Oakham. 

    Since moving to Rutland over twenty years ago, Anne has renewed her love of the performance arts and dance in particular.  Anne has been performing in local shows ever since.  Previously chair of Rutland Musical Theatre, she now runs her own amateur production group, Horseshoe Theatre Group and sits on the committee for Arts for Rutland.  

    She joined the board as Director in 2025.

  • Mary Hardwick

    Ambassador, Rutland & Stamford Sound CIC

    Mary is the Founder and Director of Inspire2tri CIC, a small rural sports, fitness and rehabilitation Studio, Pool and "Rainbow Trail"  in Manton, Rutland.
     
    Mary has previous global business experience as Vice President of worldwide Quality, Operations and Product Management for NAVTEQ and NOKIA digital mapping divisions. Currently a Director of Leicester-shire & Rutland Sport.

    Mary is a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and has a Masters in Business Administration.
