Dave Baxter, recently featured in Stamford Mercury, is giving a talk about the history of Stamford Hospital at Stamford and Rutland Cancer Support Group at 2.00pm today at Stamford Day Centre Ryhall Road. Dave, a local photographer, has produced photographs of Stamford for the new day treatment centre at Stamford Hospital and is also archivist for the Hospital. Did you know that the nurses used to have use of a swimming pool at Stamford Hospital? Come and find out more interesting facts. Stamford and Rutland Cancer Support Group. All welcome.
