Rutland Police has carried out a warrant under the Dangerous Dogs Act in North Luffenham.
The dog is in secure kennels following complaints from the community over a period of time. Officers say it was emotive for all involved and never a nice thing to do. But the law is clear with regards to banned breeds and exempted dogs but they will always take action when public safety is at risk.
