Rutland Police arrested a drink driver in Oakham yesterday afternoon who was nearly three times the legal limit.
Officers pulled him over after seeing erratic driving. The driver's dog was also in the vehicle so it was taken home whilst the driver spent time sobering up in a cell, pending a court appearance. Police say the implications of being caught drink driving last for many years for the driver alone and urged motorists not to put themselves in the situation.
