Rutland County Council is consulting on changes to its council tax reduction scheme.
They are proposing moving to a banded scheme from next April and an online application which they say will make the scheme easier to administer and make savings as a result. Consultation runs until the 20th of November and details are on the Rutland Council website. Council says no changes will be made to pensioners within the support scheme and the council will continue to support care leavers up to their 25th birthday.
