The band concerts may be over for another year in Oakham, but the Baptist Church is holding an event today which is inviting the community to in Cutts Close Park.
It starts with an open air service at 11am, then a community picnic at lunchtime with music from the EAGA 7 Children's Gospel Choir. A pop up cafe will also offer free cakes and drinks and there’s Afro Caribbean food to buy.plus a rounders game and other activities on offer.
