The Summer may have ended but at the Rocks By Rail Museum we still have a
diary full of events this year including the next Driver for a Fiver event
being held this Sunday the 13th of September. Give yourself a local treat
without breaking the bank and drive a diesel locomotive with one of our
volunteers down the line and back and experience the power of the Rolls
Royce engine. **You just need to be 16 and over to experience this
fantastic opportunity. which is offered on a first come first served basis
and normal museum admission charges apply.. *

*The Museum is a unique place to see displays and exhibits related to all
aspects of the ironstone industry which was such a major part of the local
landscape until the mid 1970s. To keep you sustained, the Sundew Cafe will
also be open serving hot and cold drinks as well as snacks, ice creams and
the ever popular bacon cob!*

*Don't miss out on this great opportunity but if you can't make it, don't
worry, there will be more Driver for a Fiver events throughout the year.
