The Stamford Dog Show and Family Fun Day for the first time today is being led by second Stamford Scouts
as they continue to raise funds for a new club house on Empingham Road. Over the past 19 years Stamford Methodist Church has raised over £30,000 through the event for several good causes. Today's event on The Meadows, organised by the Scouts, follows the usual format. However, the service that starts the day is being taken in the Methodist Church at Barn Hill. Dog Show registration for both pedigree and novelty classes takes place on the Meadows between 11:00am and 1:00pm and as usual a variety of local stalls from 10am open through the afternoon.
