The Mayor of Stamford is holding a fundraising Christmas concert at the Town Hall this afternoon in aid of her mayoral charities.
Councillor Amanda Wheeler's Ceremony of Carols features the St. Martin's Singers and it's raising money for MindSpace, Stamford George’s Food Hub and 2nd Stamford Scouts. The Mayor says the town is fully embracing the run up to the big day and hopes to have lots of people at the town hall at 4:00pm this afternoon for today's event.
'It is absolutely buzzing right now. It's great to see so many people out and about enjoying their time, enjoying the build up to Christmas. Merry Christmas everybody!’
