Tinwell is being twinned with Doingt and at the weekend received five visitors from the village and showed them the sights, including Peterborough Cathedral, Burghley House and the architecture of Stamford, and treated them to some Tinwell hospitality. French elections meant their Mayor was unable to make the trip. Hubert was one of the party who came to Tinwell at the weekend. ‘The Mayor receive a letter from Tinwell Parish.
