A1 southbound closed tonight & tomorrow night for bridge repairs

Bridge repair work is beginning at Water Newton this weekend following damage late last year.

The A1 southbound is being closed from Wansford to Peterborough tonight and tomorrow night with diversions between 9:00pm and 5:00am. The main work to repair the bridge at Billing Brook will take place later this year. This weekend overnight work will help realign the southbound carriage way so both lanes can run again in the next few months.
