Rutland's newest county councillor says he's looking forward to getting to work after winning the Barleythorpe by-election.
Andrew Dinsmore won the seat by a majority of 73 over the Lib Dems, Reform UK and an independent candidate after the seat was previously held by the county's only Green Party councillor. Councillor Dinsmore hopes his previous experience will stand him in good stead.
‘I have been a councillor before down in Fulham in London for three years and really looking forward to bringing that experience to the council in Rutland as across the nation some issues overlap, some different issues you know, and I'm looking forward to tackling both with a lot of enthusiasm’.
