On the last day of Stamford's Mid Lent Fair today, there's a chance to see the rides and more in miniature.
The Annual Model Show is taking place in the United Reformed Church Hall between 10:00am and 4:00pm, having started in the Derby and Joan Hall 30 years ago. Organisers Andrew Hill and Terry Baker says it's quite a spectacle worth visiting.
Yes, of all working fairground models. The people travel from quite a way to bring their models and to exhibit them at the show. Yeah. Are they actually miniature of what you see here? Yeah, a lot of them are miniatures of the rides that they will appear here. Yeah. Yeah, there is certainly a selection of them’.
