Police in Bourne are appealing for witnesses to a robbery which took place just after midnight
last Saturday morning and saw a man kicked and punched. The man was staying in a tent at Wellhead Park and were set upon by three men. Both his phone and bank cards were stolen. The man then packed up his tent and walked to the town centre. Officers would like to speak to a couple who then gave him a lift to Peterborough Hospital. They've also issued descriptions of the three men who they believe attacked him. All three are believed to be white. The first medium build around 5 foot 8, between 30 and 40 years old, wearing jeans and a dark coloured puffer jacket and trainers. The second, 5 foot 10, in his 30s, described as chubby with a skinhead haircut, he was wearing a T-shirt, dark tracksuit trousers and white trainers. The third, in his 20s, is around 6 foot 2 with a muscular chubby build and a puffer coat, dark jeans, a dark coloured beanie hat and Doc Martin style boots. He had a moustache and dark hair with a long fringe.
