Rutland Water is celebrating after the Environment Agency found bathing water quality
at both Sykes Lane, Empingham and Whitwell Creek as excellent for the second year running. East of England leads the country with 96.3% of designated bathing waters rated good or excellent. Sykes Lane remains the UK's only inland bathing water, with both a Blue Flag and Green Flag award.
