All 48 horses presented at yesterday's Trot Up at Defender Burghley Horse Trials will start the dressage phase today, which begins at 10:00 AM.
Two were initially sent to the holding box but passed on reinspection: New Zealand's Tayla Mason's Centennial and also Swiss rider Nadja Minder's Toblerone. New Zealand also won the prizes in the fashion stakes. Best dressed lady was Jonelle Price with a striking cream coat. Best dressed man was Clarke Johnstone in a cashmere jacket and navy trousers. Away from the competition, a new layout near the members' area sees an expanded shopping village off the original Avenue A.
