Oakham, Uppingham and the western side of Rutland is waking up to a covering of snow this morning with nothing to show in the eastern parts.
An area of thunder snow fell during the early hours in parts of Rutland and Leicestershire. It's only a light covering for most places if you are affected. Roads though are slippy with freezing temperatures too. Further and potentially more significant snowfall is forecast around the middle of next week around Rutland and Stamford.
