Diversions are expected to continue through this week
after a sinkhole appeared on Braunston Road in Oakham by Derwent Drive. Repairs are expected to take until Friday. Meanwhile, work to repair the roundabout just off the A1 at Colsterworth, which was due to start tonight, has been delayed till later in the summer due to other work currently going on. Councillors at Lincolnshire County Council agreed the work is badly needed to bring the surface back to its original condition.
