The village of Edith Weston is holding its Christmas fayre today with a grand raffle, an array of artisan stalls to raise money for the church, village hall and play park.
Kath Durrant from Edith Weston says the event, which runs between 10:30am and 3:00pm, seeing everyone come together.
‘Our Christmas fayre is going to be bigger than ever. Lots of artisan stalls and our own merchandise. So beautiful and unique tea towel depicting Queen Edith after whom the village is named. Our lovely calendars courtesy of Keith Simpson, the Rutland photographer, and some beautiful Christmas cards as well and lots, lots more obviously. So many people, ladies and gentlemen in the village, baking, making things and looking forward to a really great day’.
