Rutland Water is marking its 50th anniversary in 2026 with 50 events throughout the year.
Starting with the New Year's Day dip at Whitwell Creek on the 1st of January where up to 500 people will head into the water for the third year running. They say it's extra special to be sharing their anniversary with 30 years of the Rutland Osprey Project and 10 years of their Park Lover volunteers, as well as a 50 year partnership with the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust.
