The countdown is on to what could be the longest running pre loved clothes sale in the country and it could be the biggest yet.
For Rutland is holding its annual good and new sale at Rutland Hall Hotel at the end of this month. And because they're holding it in their pavilion for the first time, they're able to have even more rails of stock. Last year the sale raised £47,000. All proceeds go to fund non-medical advisers at Citizens Advice Rutland. So far they've raised the equivalent of £10m for their clients in over 10 years of the service. Chairperson of For Rutland, Jeanette Warner, says it's a unique local shopping experience.
"Probably more this year because we have such a lovely venue, we've actually been able to buy some additional rails, which means that we'll be able to offer an even greater range and quality of goods available for our shoppers. So yes, absolutely, this year is going to be a super sale. Absolutely brilliant. It's a really good chance to really grab a bargain. So, good for your pocket, good for the environment and good for the communities living with long term health conditions in Rutland."
