A horse and carriage driver is in hospital with serious injuries after a collision near Tilton on the Hill on Friday evening.
The crash also involved a silver Kia Sportage. The horse is receiving veterinary care and the 19 year old carriage driver remains in hospital. Leicestershire Police are asking any witnesses or anyone who saw either vehicle beforehand to contact them. They're also looking for dash cam footage. The incident happened on Friday evening just after 7:00 PM.
