Garden designers from across Rutland and Stamford are among those travelling down to Chelsea today to begin build at the Chelsea Flower Show
The Gardeners Forge from Manton and working with Bunny Guinness on the framework for the Horatio's Garden project with Country Living magazine. Jamie and Tim from the Gardeners Forge says it's been quite a short time scale.
‘So we got asked late February and then there was about a month worth of just samples and making sure we could actually achieve what the brief was with the material we wanted to use. So production really started April. So yeah, it's been, it's probably good six weeks in between other jobs and definitely finished this week ready to install starting Wednesday. So the idea is to have, I believe, jasmines running through it, possibly a few other bits and pieces. But then to run through the structure and then the plants come out through the open sides and then to fill all the way up as far as the plants will allow anyway to go through the structure. So to blend the natural with the metal structure’.
