Stamford & Rutland's MP has written to the leader of Lincolnshire County Council asking for them to hold a consultation event in Stamford
as they hold meetings across the county asking for residents' views. Alicia Kearns has asked the County Council to ask taxpayers about all options. Not just their preference of one authority for the whole county, but to divide the north and south of the county and to also include Rutland in a southern option. The MP says given the importance of the reforms and their lasting impact on services, it seems perverse that Stamford residents are unable to attend a meeting in their town.
