Lincolnshire County Council is investing £8 million in a major programme of road resurfacing and reconstruction works across the county that will improve the condition of 42 carriageways.
The scheme will run from October this year until next March and will see existing road surfaces removed and replaced with new materials designed to strengthen the carriageway and provide a smoother, long-lasting top layer for better safety and performance. They include Milking Nook Drove in Bourne, and a number of roads in Grantham.
Meanwhile, work on Stamford's Town Bridge continues, and Openreach are due to start work today on Wharf Road in Stamford, with traffic control expected until Friday.
