A man from Nottingham is due in court in Leicester today after being charged with three counts of wilful ill treatment of a child,
after several became ill at a summer camp at Stathern near Melton. 76 year old John Ruben, from Landmere Lane, Ruddington, is expected to appear at Leicester Magistrates Court today. Eight children were taken to hospital last Sunday as a precaution, all boys between 8 and 11 years old along with an adult. All have since been discharged.
