Nene Valley Railway is hosting its second annual Autism Awareness Day this Thursday, which is National Autism Day.
They believe they are the first and only heritage railway to hold an event like this designed to support people with both visible and hidden disabilities along with their families. Visitors will be able to travel behind Thomas the Tank Engine through the day in this event which is open to everyone. There will also be dedicated quiet areas for those who need to take some time out.
