Lincolnshire Integrated Care Board became one of only 12 organisations across the East Midlands to receive gold for their work in supporting the armed forces so far this year.
They previously won bronze and silver. The Defence Employer Recognition Scheme recognises employers who go above and beyond in supporting the military and this is the highest honour that can be awarded. The Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust has also received the gold award and previously the United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust has also received it, meaning the NHS system in Lincolnshire is one of the first in the country where ICB mental health and hospital trusts are all in receipt of the gold awards.
