Peterborough Cathedral is thanking over 1,000 donors who have given a total of £300,000
in three months, including what they describe as a remarkable anonymous gift which helped push them over the line. The Cathedral in Crisis appeal was launched three months ago after rising costs meant the cathedral's free seven day a week access was under threat.
