A motorcyclist was taken to hospital with serious injuries after he was involved in a collision with a white van on Friday night on Stamford Road near Empingham.
The driver of the van, a 54 year old man, wasn't injured. He was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He's since been released while police continue their investigation. Anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage of either vehicle or saw the black Suzuki motorbike or the white van before they collided on the A606 just before 6:00pm on Friday evening is asked to get in touch with Leicestershire Police.
