Stamford Town Council say they're extremely disappointed that the Pride flag has been removed for the second year running, damaging the ropes of the town hall flagpoles.
A replacement flag and rope has been ordered. Staff believe it happened at around 10:30 PM last Thursday night, 19 June, and ask anyone with information to contact police. Councillors say they're united in showing support to all the local community and will not be deterred by such unpleasant and criminal behavior.
Tomorrow morning there's a short ceremony to raise the Armed Forces Week flag on the town hall steps at 10:00 AM.
