Over £50,000 was raised at the first Race for Life night run at Burghley House last night.
The event near Stamford, which replaces the annual Sunday event, saw hundreds run, jog and walk the 5K and 10K course through the parkland. It's now a sister event to the Pretty Muddy Inflatable assault course which was moved to the Rutland Showground last month. The events are organised by Cancer Research UK. Rutland and Stamford Sound has hosted both.
