North Northamptonshire Council says a programme of road safety improvements on the A43 between Weldon and the boundary with Stamford
are now complete with new 50 mile an hour speed limits, the maximum allowed. They've also introduced new signage and cleaned up the surroundings to improve visibility. They hope that even in the lower speed areas, at Collyweston and Easton on the Hill, the measures become more effective.
