Meantime, work begins on London Road in Uppingham later. The section of the A6003 near Spring Back Way will be closed from 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM this week.
Next week it'll be nearer the marketplace. The main road is being fully resurfaced overnight.
Water supplies are returning to the Stamford area, after a burst water main left hundreds of homes from Tickencote to Tallington with low pressure, or in many cases, no water. Supplies are returning, but if you have no water still, you're advised to use a new bottled water collection point at the Normanton Car Park of Rutland Water, although the Morrisons collection point will remain open.
