A local lady unexpectedly found herself face to face with King Charles III while the new monarch was greeting well-wishers. In her interview with Rob Persani, Vicky Binley explained that she was so overcome with emotion that she gave the new King a kiss on the hand.
Vicky decided to close her office in Oakham on Friday and travel to London with her team, so they could all pay their respects to the royal family. While quietly reflecting by the railings outside Buckingham Palace, Vicky and her colleagues were surprised to see King Charles arrive with Camilla, the new Queen Consort.
