Rutland Police are reminding drivers to plan ahead when incidents occur on main roads.
Last night they attended a collision and a breakdown, both on the A1. They are appealing to drivers to slow down, signal in good time and move over early when a lane is coned off to show you've seen an obstruction and keep other road users and those at incidents safe.
