Rutland Police were called to a teenage birthday party last night in Manton, which got out of hand when it was gate-crashed.
Officers say there was a small minority which spoiled it for everyone else, and that it resulted in groups of youths, some who were very drunk, roaming around the village and causing a nuisance.
Police say the overwhelming majority of partygoers were respectful and just trying to get collected to go home. They'd also like to thank villagers who came out to assist the two officers and also say there'll be a wider investigation into the issues, where they'll work with their partner agencies to identify anyone suspected of any offences, and also for villagers to report anything that constitutes a crime to them.
They're also asking anyone with CCTV, doorbell or even phone footage to report it via the usual channels of Leicestershire Police.
