Rutland's roads are some of the best maintained in the country, according to a national independent survey.
They're ranked fifth out of 111 local authorities who took part in the National Highways Transport Public Satisfaction Survey. It's the third year Rutland County Council has been included and it's always been in the top quarter.
The survey was carried out in June with a random sample of Rutland residents who were asked how satisfied they were with various aspects of highways and transport services.
