South Kesteven District Council has announced a series of drop in consultation events on local government reorganisation, which may include partnering with Rutland.
Both councillors and staff will be on hand to answer questions at the events, which include Deepings Community Centre tomorrow afternoon between 4:00pm and 6:00pm and Stamford Market from 8:30am until 3:00pm this Friday. They've also launched an online survey. South Kesteven has joined with North Kesteven on its interim proposal saying that Lincolnshire should be split north and south and that Rutland was previously a member of the Greater Lincolnshire Local Enterprise Partnership so it could fit economically with the southern half of Lincolnshire.
