Spring COVID vaccinations will begin to be administered from today in Rutland.
The Integrated Care Board team is bringing a roving unit to parts of the county. It will not happen through surgeries this time. The unit is at Oakham Enterprise Park for the next few days and Uppingham Market on the next two Fridays and beginning to visit villages next week with Cottesmore, Greetham, Market Overton and Thistleton on Tuesday and Ketton, Edith Weston and North and South Luffenham on Wednesday next week. The Rutland Late Night Pharmacy will also offer vaccinations throughout the campaign. Lincolnshire ICB is also visiting the community. It's actually crossing the border to Ryhall Village Hall on Monday the 14th of April. Those eligible for a jab are adults aged 75 and over, residents in care homes for older adults and individuals 6 months and over with a weakened immunity. Mobile units are for people aged 12 and over.
