Rutland and Stamford MP says she will do everything in her power to make sure a man from Stamford who was jailed for 21 years yesterday
nine counts of rape never gets out of prison. 36 year old Joshua Springer's offences relate to three victims in a Stamford care home who were suffering with dementia and a fourth in North Yorkshire. Springer, formerly of Cornstall Buildings in the town, was also sentenced for making indecent images of children and was also given a Sexual Harm Prevention order for the rest of his life. Lincolnshire Police are also appealing for anyone else who believes they were a victim of Springer also called Joshua Kearney to contact them as despite his sentence at Lincoln Crown Court yesterday their investigations continued. Alicia Kearns says she'll be referring the sentence to the Unduly Lenient Scheme, not least as the judge recognised he's a danger to society. The MP says he abused his position of power to commit the most heinous crimes against the most vulnerable.
