The volunteer run Stamford Visitor Centre marked its 5th anniversary last night
as the 40 strong team launched their new season promoting the town. They are continuing to offer a warm welcome to coach parties who call in on their way up and down the A1, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays. Thanks to a personal service and offers from local businesses for coach drivers, they're seeing thousands of passengers stop off in the town. They also re-open their bureau in the Corn Exchange next week which will run until October.
