There's a chance to collect some sunflowers today, search for Jurassic fossils and forage for berries at the Rutland Vineyard in their annual charity fundraiser.
Although sunflowers have been able to grow this year among the 20,000 vines there, they've managed to get some from a local farmer. All proceeds go to Stamford Brain Tumour Charity, Anna's Hope. Tim Beaver from the vineyard at Ketton, says they are pleased to support them this weekend.
They are fantastic. They help raise awareness of childhood brain tumours and they really help raise the profile and awareness and just try to help to give support to families. If you have been unlucky affected by them they are often the first point of call. They do some great work, really nice people. So we're really flattered and happy to work with them and I say your £10 donation will go 100% to them’.
