Rutland Water’s Sykes Lane Beach has been awarded the Blue Flag award for the second year running, as well as the Green Flag.
It's the only inland bathing water location in England to have both. The awards from environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy recognise excellent water quality, biodiversity and green space for the community that brings people together. The Sykes Lane Beach is open daily until September and bathing is available when lifeguards are on duty.
