The R1 bus service set to be strengthened

The R1 bus that connects Melton and Corby with Oakham and Uppingham

is set to be strengthened thanks to a partnership with Rutland, Leicestershire and North Northamptonshire councils. A third bus will serve the route from next week, improving the frequency of the service to hourly for most of the day. The bus service is operated by Bland’s.
