Police are appealing for witnesses after a crash at 7.45 on Tuesday morning, then a car which struck a road closed barrier at midday.
TUESDAY 4PM UPDATE:
Lincolnshire Police has made three arrests after a crash at West Deeping this morning – two of them after the driver hit a road closed sign, after diversions were put in place. Three vehicles were involved in the collision at 7.45 this morning – a black Lexmoto motorbike, a black Nissan NP300 and a white Volkeswagen Touareg. The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries. One of the drivers, a 28 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury by careless or inconsiderate driving and obstructing police – he remains in custody. Meanwhile just after midday, Police saw a blue Vauxhall Astra collide with one of the road closure signs – the driver a 26 year old woman turned her car round and ignored a police request to stop – she’s been arrested for this, drink driving and theft of the car, which her 39 year old passenger has also been arrested for. Officers caught up with the car at the Tallington level crossing. Anyone with any information or footage that may help officers, is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police.
