Tributes are being paid to the president of the Peterborough Referee Association who has passed away
at Sue Ryder’s Thorpe Hall Hospice after battling cancer. Stewart Francis was 74 and as well as being a well known local referee, he was chairman of Vivacity and one of the launch presenters at Hereward Radio when it also served Stamford and Rutland going on to be managing director.
