One of the most well known faces of TV news in the region will officially open the For Rutland's Good and New Clothes Sale this evening.
The sale, which raises thousands to help pay for non medical advisors assistance advice. Will be officially opened by Anne Davis of East Midlands Today at its new venue, The Pavilion at Rutland Hall Hotel. Chair of For Rutland Jeanette Warner says there will be a huge range of good quality pre-loved items to buy.
‘Probably more this year because we have such a lovely venue, we've actually been able to buy some additional rails which means that would be able to offer an even greater range and quality of goods available for our shoppers. So, yes, absolutely. This year is going to be a super sale, absolutely brilliant. And these clothes are principally donated from the local area? Actually they come from all over, but yes, predominantly from the local area. But we do have people who donate regularly who live in London and live further afield. But because they've supported us for so long, they've moved out of county, but continue to send us a really good quality clothes. So yes, we're very grateful to all the people who support us by donating such beautiful clothes for us’.
