Uppingham has won gold again at East Midlands in Bloom.
The town also won the best small town in the East Midlands at the regional awards in Grimsby yesterday. Judges loved the town's community spirit and gave a gold award to the Exeter Arms for its garden and an award to the residents of Tod's Piece for enhancing the front of their properties by using potted plants. Due to its success in the small town category last year Uppingham in Bloom is in Brighton next month for the national Britain in Bloom awards.
